Cherokee County

According to the US Census Bureau, Cherokee county has a total area of 434 square miles, of which 422 square miles  is land and 13 square miles is water. Much of the water is in Lake Allatoona, which is in the southwest portion of the county. 

Canton, a large  city within Cherokee County, brands itself as being "Where the Metro meets the Mountains" alluding to the beautiful topography the county boasts.

Cherokee County has 44 public schools, 7 private schools, and multiple hybrid schools within its borders. Reinhardt University is located in Waleska.
